The Genoa Afternoon Homemakers Extension Unit records are divided into three series: Genoa Afternoon Homemakers Extension Unit; DeKalb County; and Illinois. The Genoa Women's Club records document the history of the organization from 1947-1984. The minutes are complete from 1947 to 1975 and together with the treasurer's reports comprise a fairly comprehensive history of the club's activities. Other related material such as agendas, meeting announcements, and newsletters add support information. The four volumes of scrapbooks and the project and program folders highlight the clubs business affairs and fund raising activities.
